SNAP 8 is a synthetic octapeptide—a peptide composed of eight amino acids.

Its name derives from its mimicry of a segment of the human SNAP-25 protein, in scientific research, it is primarily used to study neurotransmitter release mechanisms, while in the cosmetics industry, it is utilized as an ingredient for research and product development. It is most commonly available commercially as a white, freeze-dried powder.
